NZXT competition winner announced

NZXT competition winner announced

Shay Rossall from Lancashire has won a boatload of NZXT goodies - congratulations.

After a short delay, probably caused by sifting through all the entries we had and NZXT kindly agreeing to open the competition to all bit-tech readers worldwide, we're finally about to announce a winner for the NZXT gaming gear competition.

First though, let's quickly refresh ourselves on what was up for grabs...
  • NZXT Panzer Aluminum – Global awards winning chassis – retail at £99
  • NZXT Sentry LX – Highly winning awards aluminum double deck 5 fans controller – retail at £49
  • NZXT Avatar gaming mouse – retail at £49
  • AXP 1000W – Advance AXP Modular High performance gaming PSU with 80PLUS Bronze certified – retail at £145
Congratulations are in order for Shay Rossall from Blackpool, who won all the above gear. You should be hearing from us shortly.

Commiserations for the rest of you who didn't win, but don't forget that there are plenty of other chances to win stuff at the moment - we're currently giving away a Sapphire Radeon HD 5870 Vapor-X card with Sapphire, as well as a bunch of other bits and bobs courtesy of Enermax.

Pass on your thoughts in the forums.

# This competition is open to all bit-tech readers.

Got my hopes up till I read through the rest of it. Might want to change that at the bottom.

Sheesh not again. Just PLEASE start there with "ONLY FOR UK- READERS!!!111" so we won't even get our hopes up.

Shouldn't be impossible to ship worldwide, but I suppose NZXT isn't doing too well.

NZXT has had contests on other sites that were for their specific region only. Reason for this is that global companies have different divisions with their own budgets to hold competitions... Shipping international will cut into said budgets so they just let the regional divisions hold contests for their region only. Legit Reviews just had an NZXT contest a month or so ago with pretty much the same stuff.

Everybody loves a good competition

except for when the sponsor is to cheap to make it world wide ><
delriogw 28th August 2009, 20:24 Quote
it's probably more to do with differing competition rules around the world

that's the reason a lot of comps are USA and Canada only.
dicobalt 29th August 2009, 05:42 Quote
Yea, technically entering something like this is considered gambling in some places. That's why you always see so many limitations in small print about what locations are not allowed to participate in a giveaway.
damienVC 29th August 2009, 08:05 Quote
I've entered. I won an umbrella once about 15 years ago in a raffle so am hopeful that my luck will continue.

I always feel sorry for the families on these competitions, what about poor 12 year old billy who hasn't seen or even met his big cousin *insert name here* that works for deniss publishings and wants a new power supply to pay for the food cause his parents are in poverty T_T

Oh well I guess Billy will have to go fudge himself ^_^
