Win this awesome Sapphire Radeon HD 5870 graphics card and its brilliant Vapor-X cooler!
Bit-tech has gone competition mad for you this week! ATI has just launched the first DirectX 11-compatible GPU in the world, the Radeon HD 5870, and we've teamed up with Sapphire to offer you the chance to win one.
This isn't any old Radeon HD 5870 graphics card either, as Sapphire has fitted it with one of its excellent Vapor-X coolers, so this card will be much quieter than a normal HD 5870, and will have much lower temperatures too!
How to Enter
To win this fantastic prize all you have to do is answer the question below:What are the main benefits of a Sapphire Vapor-X cooler?
a) It can turn into a giant man-eating robot.
b) Each cooler comes with an actual, real-life penguin.

On the other hand, this surely is a win-situation, since this competition had me finally register on the bit-tech forums. ´Have been reading a lot anonymously, but never posted, so this is actually my very first post :p
Big up's to Sapphire foe beening the first company with non-reference cooling on HD 5870 - especially considering the Vapor-X technology of "flat heatpipes" is by far the best air VGA-cooling available.

Lots of people competition hunting it seems with 1 posts.
Reminds me when i was 12/13 and we had CompuServe ISP and my mum used to spend hours on the internet entering competitions. She'd only ever win hampers, probably ended up spending more money in call charges surfing the net than they were worth.
I hope to win and add this to the long list of competition wins i have.......... Two tickets to see Apollo 13 at the cinema from Radio Shropshire.. Didn't even go, as i was only 12 years old. Gawd, 1995 doesn't feel like that long ago :/

It is the point. He's worrying about something which isn't going to happen. Dennis Publishing are listed on the Data Protection Register so they obviously take it seriously enough not to do anything dodgy with our data. They already stated that any information will be removed after the competition. What more do you want them to do?
To be fair, if you don't agree with the competition terms then don't enter.
I don`t mind to replace my sweet 4850 Vapor-x with 5870 Vapor-x....

Even if I get it sent to me I'll get hit with about 45% duty plus almost USD100 in customs clearance charges as well as a USD70-80 shipping charge . If it's sent as a gift then this doesn't apply :'(. The joys of living in Africa :(! All we have going for us in reality is the climate! Although it's about 40C (104F) and my PC does not like that, especially the VRMs on my Sapphire 4890 :'(:'(:'(:'(:'( Remember that next time you complain about prices and service and shipping >:(

Well, vapor-X is the best cooler.
I am using a HD4850 with vaporX cooler, and its quiet..So just a hint which is the answers, though it is easy for everyone, but it wouldn't be surprise to see people scratching their heads, looking and guessing for the answer.

Well, a am an avid bit-tech reader from a year, but i never registered in the forum.... till now.
I live in a rural town in India, and as i'm typing this from my dialup connection, i just realised that if i win this, i will probably be the ONLY guy in a 1000 mile radius to have a 5870, let alone a Vapor-X... Currently i'm using this card: http://www1.sapphiretech.com/us/products/products_overview.php?gpid=256 gifted to me by my cousin from Dubai. It is perfect for my 17" CRT monitor. If i get the 4890, i will get a 1080p LCD monitor to complement it.. they have gotten pretty affordable here.
