Congratulations to all the five winners and comiserations to those that didn't win this time around!
Last Christmas was an extra special one for
bit-tech, as we hosted no less than four different competitions over the festive period. Today, we’re finally able to announce the winners of the last competition – the chance to
win one of five Corsair TX750W power supplies.
It took a little longer than normal to get to this announcement, because for some reason a few of the initial winners didn’t get back to us before the closing date for claiming their prizes. This meant we had to re-draw a few of the winners – thankfully they all confirmed at the second time of asking!
Anyway, the five lucky readers to win a Corsair TX750W power supply were
Satpal Jhujh of Oxon, UK;
Leblon Gilles of Geraadsbegen, Belgium;
Eric Yan of Davis, California, USA;
Mikael Lundgren of Bandhagen, Sweden; and
Emir Jose Martinez Coronado of Doral, Florida, USA. Congratulations to all five of you!
We’d like to thank
Corsair for supporting the
bit-tech community with the sponsorship of this competition and, of course, how could we forget all of those readers that entered the competition but didn’t walk away with a prize?
If you haven’t won this time around, we’ll be sure to give you plenty more chances to walk away with some great kit over the course of the next year! It’s the least we can do to show our thanks for your support.

Are 1st cousins considered immediate family members? :)
Me too. :)
Luckily japanese manufacturers redeemed themselves. :D
I think I was disappointed. :)
Brilliant.
I came looking at the modding section about watercooling and have decided to go ahead and make my own watercooling system. I have read *turpija's homemade watercooling thread and I will almost copy his water cooler.
I bought a delux CoolRiver watercooling kit 2 years ago and have since sold it but now I want to do something with time and have been researching for as cheaper materials as I can find here in NZ and I have found some cheap tools so now I think I can go ahead with the project....but I don't have a camera so I have to wait before I can post a log which I would like to do.
It's a ;) great idea to post your own log.
***So hi! and a great Christmas***
Hey bwuggley, welcome to the forums! ;)
A water pistol was actually our mod of the year prize. Gonna have to change it now.. :(
:) that is too funny
Good luck everyone.
After crossing 11.59PM of 31st December,it's automatically the next day or 1st of January right ?
Bit invented their very own "25th hour" years ago. Primarily in an aide for RTT to fix things in time :p
BoT: Entered. Good luck to all :D
not long to go
The winners will be announced on the front page once all are confirmed :)
Thanks Tim. :) No Email here. :'( Congrats to the winners.
Send me a winning e-mail, and ill confirm ;)
hehe
(can but try)
Ditto
I'll take the 3rd slot. Thankyou!!
Where is Jebus when you need him?
Exactly.Email me too & you'll get the reply/confirmation within 1 minute.Promice. :)
just curious as im anxious to have a shot at it. i need a PSU badly :S.
yes, cut off is the 14th. :)
That doesn't mean to say there will be a re-draw. For all we know, when the 14th comes the staff get to divvy up the prizes - notice the suspicious smiley in Tim's last post? He's looking forward to a new psu.
'Oh not another free PSU? Throw it on the pile..'
I thinks a re-draw for the last three would be fairest
If I could stack the spare PSUs in the office they would probably be taller than Tim. And that's a challenge and a half :P
I know if I stacked the PSUs used in the office it would be taller than the building..
As we haven't heard anything, this is startingto look like a cover-up or at least sort of a X-File.........
And no, I didn't win one either, too bad though. :(:'(
If you could re-send it, I'd be grateful... Thunderbird can sometimes be slightly over-zealous with its spam filtering... :p
