Premium case manufacturer Lian Li has sent us some early images of its new PC-B16 and PC-A61 ATX tower cases.

Keen to show off the cases to the community prior to their official outings at CeBIT this year, Lian Li has posted further details on its blog and is welcoming feedback on the cases - they're apparently just prototypes at the moment.

While they don't look that much different to Lian Li's usual style of case, their cable routeing looks excellent.

What's more each case has room for two radiators - a dual 120/140mm-fan radiator in the roof with an ample 60mm of spacing and also a dual 120mm-fan radiator in the front too.

At 49cm high, both the PC-B16 and PC-A61 are fairly compact for ATX towers (that's less than 10cm taller than a BitFenix Prodigy) and support graphics cards up to 280mm with the front drive mounts installed.

Thankfully, these are individual mounts for each hard disk so you only have to remove a couple and you'll have 420mm to play with. CPU cooler height is limited to a reasonable 170mm but you gain 30mm clearance behind the motherboard tray for hiding cables.

The main difference that we can see between the two cases is the front door of the PC-B16 - Lian Li told us the 'B' means it's a chassis designed to keep noise to a minimum.

Coupled with plenty of dust filters, tool-free drive bays and a side window they look like very good efforts indeed. We have yet to hear word on pricing (if they're less than £120 then Lian Li could be onto a winner) but let us know your thoughts in the comments.
