Cygnar Storm Strider by monkeyfun

Project Log: Here
There are plenty of skills on show every month; metalwork, woodwork, machining and welding have all been featured on a regular basis, but it's not often we see some proper forging action. That's all about to change, though, as forum user monkeyfun has not only had a stab at forging his own parts, but has the photos to prove it too.

The project began with the construction of foam moulds based on a Cygnar Storm Strider from the Warmachine universe.

Than came the forging - a spectacular way of creating your own metal components. However, we doubt this is doable in your average garage.

The newly-created parts appear in their glowing casting blocks, complete with waste metal dripping over the edge. It's certainly one of the more spectacular beginnings to a project log that we've seen.

These and other sections of the case are now finding their way into the Cygnar Storm Strider, which is quickly coming together in the project log.

We don't recommend missing anything in monkeyfun's project log, so make sure you head over to his project log on a regular basis. If you'd like to vote for it, then head over to our forum.
