We knew it was coming, didn't we? This new notebook (or perhaps it's more of a desktop replacement) has leaked out onto the wibblesome web this morning, with scant more than a few pictures to explain it.

It appears to sport a detachable display, which is certainly a novel twist on the concept, and will be of interest to those that want a portable computer, rather than a laptop, the difference being that the former is only set up on a desk, but at multiple locations.

The widescreen ratio on the notebook apparently comes in at 1680x1050, which is actually quite low for a screen of that size, considering the Dell XPS Gen 2 17" screen is 1920 wide.

The system seems incredibly thin, actually to the point of vague portability. We'll wait to see one up close before coming to any conclusions though. In the mean time, take a look at some more speculation over at TrustedReviews.
