Who's it gonna be? We've got the proverbial plaques all ready - we just need you to choose the winner.
We're already past the halfway point of December and careening toward the new year, and I'm sure many of you have already noticed our annual awards starting to pop up. But I know what you're
really looking forward to - the spirit of
bit-tech has been and always will be the mods...and it's time for the annual "best of" for those as well.
Yep, it's time for the
bit-tech Mod of the Year.
Twelve top mods will face off in this year's competition, with a prize that the winner will be talking about for some time to come. There's an
entire top-end system up for grabs as well as cash and other prizes.
Don't think that you're left out in the wintry cold, though - there's even more prizes in our two weeks of voting. At regular intervals during the voting period, we'll take the name of a lucky voter and give him or her a prize, too. We've got an enthusiast motherboard, an 8800 GT and even an iPod Nano - and that's just a small sampling.
You can catch the details when the contest opens on December 24th (Christmas Eve day) - but we'll leave you with this teaser list of sponsors to get you salivating until then.
And, come Monday morning, maybe you'll end up with an extra present under
your tree. All you have to do is read, vote, and win - you can even discuss it in
the forums for a bit if you just can't wait until Monday!
Merry Christmas from all of us here at
bit-tech.net, the world's home for great mods!

This has truly been a great year for mods
Just a slither of the stuff that we're actually giving away, because we have it in the office atm.
RwD
I'll second that. He uses materials that are pretty much readily available to the "Average Joe" and goes to town.
That makes me a saaaad panda.:'(
Absolutely not, Cheapskate :) But the mod DOES have to be complete and featured. :) *hint*
Edit: I spy with my little eye an 8800GTS
Wow guys, thanks for the props I really appreciate it! :D
But as Da Dego said, the mods have to be complete in order to be a contender for MotY. So maybe next year for me! :(
I'm looking forward to seeing the 12 chosen for this year though. It will be a really tough decision as there were quite a few amazing works.
You've outdone yourself again bit-tech. I hope I can snag me some prizes as a voter. :D
I was about to ask about the worldwide contest part, but Da Dego answered that for me.
So...when the lid is closed and everything is running...
Featured as in 'front page' featured or featured as in 'look at all the wonderful features in my mod'. :D
Top notch prizes guys. ;)
Ah shucks lol I'll come back next year then. Great prizes BTW. Good luck to the contestants. :)
One forum member has already won a prize, but I can't recall his name at the moment. I believe he won a motherboard and some DDR3 ram.
