Fractal announces Arc XL and Mini 2, with 3x120mm full-thickness rads

The Fractal Arc mini 2 is a compact micro-ATX case that still has room for a 3x120mm

Fractal has announced two new cases that feature space for 3x120mm, full-thickness radiators in their roofs, as well as a new white version of the compact mini-ITX case the Node 304.

The Fractal Arc XL is a new ATX case that, as well as featuring space for a top radiator, has - like previous Fractal cases - a removable hard drive bay to allow for a 2x120mm radiator in the front. SSD mounts are also included on the back of the motherboard tray and the front fan filter panel pops out with a press. Crucially, despite having room for so many radiators, the case isn't overly large with dimensions of 232 x 572 x 552mm.

As for the Fractal Arc Mini 2, this micro-ATX case includes fully removable drive bays - both HDD and optical - allowing for that top mounted radiator and a 2x120mm radiator in the front. The radiator mount is also offset in front of the motherboard to keep the overall case size as compact as possible, with dimensions of 210 x 405 x 484mm. Two SSD mounts are again inlcluded on the back of the motherboard. For accessing the top radiator it's a simple case of siding off the top filter section.

Joining these two water-cooling centric cases is a more stylish addition in the shape of an all-white version of the mini-ITX Node 304. This case is fairly minimal in terms of features but includes support for two expansion slots, ATX power supplies, a 120mm rear mounted fan and an 80mm front mounted fan.

We're awaiting confirmation of prices for all three cases but the Arc Mini 2 we expect to be £69.99. All three cases will be available imminently.

Weird. On their official site they say only up to 240mm rads.

Wow that Arc mini 2 makes trying out watercooling at uni far too much of a temptation. I think I'm too scared of it to actually do it though =\

They don't list the case mentioned in this article yet. The case shown is the Arc XL, while I will guess that you looked up the details for the Arc Midi 2, which only accepts 240mm radiators.
