Having explored the USS Hornet last year once IDF was finished I can thoroughly recommend anybody trying to go there; it's a fantastic ship that has been really well converted into a museum.

Runner Up Prizes

Two (2) second place winners will win an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 560 from MSI. The NVIDIA GeForce GTX 560 is a wickedly fast DirectX 11 graphics card that has 384 cores and 1GB of memory. It's a killer graphics card for this seasons upcoming games like Battlefield 3.

Really?

It was never needed, the guy merely said in an interview something like "of course if you have SLI'd 580's you're going to be fine". That does not mean it's needed >.>

GeForceLAN 6 is the sixth NVIDIA LAN party - GeForceLAN 5 was at PAX East two years ago for the launch of the GeForce 480. This is one timed for the release of BF3. It will be a great LAN party.

Lan events don't really seem to interest me but having said that I've still never been to one so can't really say :D I might get hooked on them if I tried but this one sounds genuinely awesome :).

Turns out I was runner up! Was very pleasantly surprised to take a delivery of a package from the States this morning:

OC edition too! :D

The Geforce LAN event looked awesome (on a boat!), videos on their site now, a shame I did not win 1st prize but shouldn't complain.

Thanks NVidia and cheers to Bit-Tech for reporting this compo! ;)
