NZXT to produce pink Phantom case

The pink Phantom started life as an April fools joke.

Case manufacturer NZXT is planning to produce a limited edition pink run of its popular Phantom case later this year.

The move was prompted by the overwhelmingly positive feedback the company had from its April fools press release, which stated that the company was going to start manufacturing a range of pink cases, PSUs and fans.

The run will be strictly limited, and only a handful of the cases are likely to make it here to the UK, so you’ll have to be quick if you decide you fancy a quirkily coloured case.

The company was also showing off a pink PSU with the pink case, although we were quickly told that there were no plans to put this into production in the same way as the Phantom.

Do you fancy a pink case? Is NZXT making a smart move by producing its cases in more than the normal set of colours? Let us know your thoughts in the forums.

Ah, I see Jordan's new computer has arrived. The case may be all pink and garish on the outside, but in fact it's just an empty shell begging for someone to stuff some hardware inside it...

Wow, I can't decide whether I hate it or like it in the way a parent cares for their broken child.

to be honest I really do like this, now I wouldnt buy it for myself but maybe for my girlfriend but it really does look good.

I imagine that the people who buy this will be the same people who buy pink Nissan Micra convertables.
So that's a potentilal market of what?....... About a dozen people in the UK?

Seriously though, it's the most hideous case I've ever seen. And I'm old enough to remember the way cases looked in the mid 90's.

I kind of like it. It would look better with a black interior, though. I've been asking for something other than a solid black monolith and this certainly fills the bill, so why not?

A Pink car, meh, that's a lot of pink.
A pink computer? No thinks, it's going to stick out like a sore thumb pretty much no matter where you put it.

If I saw that in your house, I wouldn't wonder about your sexuality, but I would certainly wonder about your taste and style.

On the other hand, paint the outside a neutral color and leave the inside (which looks good) pink and you can make it work quite well. I'm not big on the outside looks on this at all. It's simply too much pink to try and blend into a room unless you have something else in there that's pink to tone it down.

when and where can I get all of the nzxt pink stuff from? I am sooooo dying to get my hands on it all. and any bloke that has a partner who loves pink should get this for them as its gorgeous and I cant believe their only doing a limited amount.
