Enter YoyoTech Facebook competition and win games

The terms and conditions of the competition are available on the Facebook page.

Online retailer YoyoTech is currently trying to drum up friends for its Facebook page by running a competition based on the number of 'Likes' it receives.

The competition, which the company calls Likeable Likes, asks punters to Like the company's Facebook page. In return, YoyoTech is giving out Steam game codes every time ten people Like its page, and bigger prizes for every hundred Likes.

YoyoTech is keeping the details of the larger prizes under wraps at the moment, but the last one to be given away when the page hit 400 Likes was a snazzy courier-style laptop bag.

We’re sure the company is planning something special when it breaks the 500-Likes mark too.

If you feel like trying your luck at picking up a free game, then head over to the page. While you’re there, you could even check out the bit-tech, bit-gamer and Custom PC Facebook pages, where we post the latest office going-ons, occasional preview pictures of what’s in our labs and competitions too.

Are you an avid YoyoTech customer? Have you already entered the competition? Let us know your thoughts in the forums.

can you just unlike them and like them again until you get something?

That's some cracking English in that photo caption there....

"Simply at YoyoTech we love share some goodies with people who like us."

They're just posted publicly, so it's free game to anyone that's on the page.

I've a feeling that it's given out to a member at random whenever it hits a milestone, and not necessarily the person who triggered the milestone. At least I hope it's that way, it would be unfair otherwise.

Its rubbish, don't bother, as they're one code per game and nearly 500 grabbing them as soon as they're posted :(

I bothered, and got UT3 Black Ed for free!

I'm not complaining.
r3loaded 17th May 2011, 16:28 Quote
Bah, it is the unfair way. Just as well that I have the games they're giving out anyway.

And it was advertised as a competition, NOT a giveaway. The way it was advertised was not the way it happened. I think we have a right to be pissed off.

Just to reiterate

I don't like Yoyo tech at all, does that count?

I'd actually like to drop a small nuke on the counter and lock the door on the way out.

I don't think it said every 10th person from 10 onwards. Could have been every 10th from 13, 17 etc.
