while they are very good overclocks, whats the point. they are already the best cards in the world, have no probem with any game at all why overclock them. so you can get 200fps instead of 180

I suspect there will be improvements at 2560x1600, but that isn't going to affect most people :)

I hate pre-OC'd cards.

The oc's always suck, and a three year old could do better.

actually something i forgot about, the stream processors. i guess even xfx havent got the equipment to overclock those yet.

i knew XFX would be the first with the XXX series, theyre not pre overclocked i don't think.. They're factory set to those speeds. But i think evga will wipe XFX's floor with their "superclocked" version when it arises =P

I don't like how they change the PCB from the reference card black to green. Well more pre overclock cards to come. I waiting to see what bfg overclock there watercooled edition to.

Nice cards, but..

My Asus 8800GTS clocks gpu 500@650mhz and ram 800@1015mhz (2030 if it's doubled?) and i run 3dmark06 just fine.
I run it at gpu 500@600 and ram 800@950 on the everyday basis, just to be sure it runs nice and steady.<

So I can't really say they are pushing the pre-oc cards that high :\

Holly......god damn....sweet....but as mentioned earlyier, the evga will probably "eat it alive"...then again I would be curiouse about Gainward's Golden Sample ones.

Yes, but there's no detail on how far they're overclocked in comparison to the core clock when you increase it. All that we know is that it's overclocked at the same time - I'm not sure whether it's a linear overclock or whether it's a logarithmic scale, or some other entirely different clock scaling. :)
