Square Enix has published official system requirements for Deus Ex: Mankind Divided, the second mainstream game in its reboot of the dystopian sci-fi franchise, ahead of its release on August 23.

PC gamers looking to dive once again into the shoes of Adam Jensen, unwilling cybernetically-augmented gravelly-voiced and pointy-chinned hero of the rebooted franchise, will need a 64-bit Windows 7.1 Service Pack 1 or higher system based around at least an Intel Core i3-2100 or AMD equivalent processor with 8GB of RAM, Nvidia GeForce GTX 600 2GB or AMD Radeon HD 7870 2GB graphics, and a minimum of 45GB of available hard drive space, Square Enix has announced on the official website.

Those looking to get more from the game and crank up the settings are recommended to be running Windows 10 on an Intel Core i7-3770K or AMD FX 8350 processor or better with 16GB of RAM, Nvidia GeForce GTX 970 or AMD Radeon RX 480 graphics, and have 55GB of free space for both the game and its downloadable content. These specifications, however, are allegedly only good for smooth gameplay at a resolution of 1,920 x 1,080; those on higher-resolution systems, it seems, will need a corresponding bump in graphical horsepower.

The game officially releases on August 23 on Windows, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4. Buyers are able to pre-load the game on Xbox One now, with PlayStation 4 pre-load opening on August 21 and Windows pre-loading available via Steam from August 19.
