The Wargaming.net League has today revealed details of the forthcoming Continental Rumble event, scheduled to take place this Saturday, October 17, in Poznań, Poland.

The mini tournament will take place as part of the larger Poznań Game Arena 2015 event that's happening at the Poznań International Fair this weekend. It will see four of the best World of Tanks esports teams from the CIS (Commonwealth of Independent States) and EU regions battling it out for a piece of the $100,000 prize pool - $45,000 for first place, $30,000 for second, $15,000 for third and $10,000 for fourth. A further event, the Pacific Rumble, where the North America and Asia regions will face off is penned for November 7.

Representing the CIS region will be Natus Vincere (Na'Vi), the Season 1 CIS champions, who will undoubtedly be looking to prove themselves after unexpectedly only finishing third in this year's Grand Finals. Joining them is Not So Serious Team (NSS). Their EU region counterparts will be Wombats on Tanks, who won the Season 1 EU League, as well as Tornado Rox, who won a qualifying tournament. Last but not least, they will be joined by special guests Kazna Kru, who won the 2014-2015 Season 5 and placed fourth in the Grand Finals, although their role at the event has not been confirmed.

The event kicks off with the first semi-final at midday on October 17 in Hall 15. However, the Poznań Game Arena opens at 10am, with Wargaming promising further entertainment for visitors. For example, there will be battles between elite World of Tanks esports teams, including the first ever Tier 10 match. Described as an 'all-star extravaganza', this will see a full roster of Tier 10 tanks unleashed on the battlefield. These are the most powerful vehicles in the game, and standard World of Tanks esports games only permit tanks between Tier 6 and Tier 8.

For those who aren't content with just watching and want to get involved in the action themselves, the Wargaming MGT-20 gaming truck will also be making an appearance. This US military truck is kitted out with numerous gaming PCs, and will be set up to allow two teams of seven to face off in standard 7/54 Team Battles.

Tickets for the Poznań Game Arena are available from the official website for just 20 PLN per person (approximately 5 Euros or £4), or you can also watch the action on this Twitch stream. We'll also personally be in attendance covering the event, so look out for coverage soon after.
