Sega has confirmed that Sonic Generations will be released on on PC this November.
Sega has announced that Sonic Generations will be released for PC this November, with a full array of Steamworks features to boot.
A hybrid of 2D and 3D content, Generations has Sonic thrown back in time to re-experience many of the highlights from across the series.
The PC version of Sonic Generations will, like the console versions, feature stereoscopic 3D, as well as achievements and online leaderboards.
Valve's Steamworks will also bring cloud saving features to the game when it goes on sale on November 4, 2011.

I think this is one of the few games I've seen recently where the specs are actually sensible in terms of GPU required/recommended. Normally it's sort of "nVidia 8600GTS/ATi 4850" or "nVidia 9800GTX/ATi X1600" nonsense that makes you wonder if they bothered to check just how good the cards they're 'requiring' are. ;)
the recomended specs are understandable tbh...
look at how fast sonic can run, you get a real sence of speed
the original sonics ( everything before 3d ) were amazing i spent hours on sonic 3 and knuckles pack when i was younger...
