Ubisoft revealed at E3 2011 that Beyond Good and Evil 2 won’t be released for current consoles.
GI.biz is reporting that Beyond Good and Evil 2 ‘
will not be released on current-generation consoles’ as has been widely reported.
A release date for the game has not been announced.
The reason for the console no-show is, according to Ubisoft designer Michel Ancel, that ‘
we are very far [into] development so we can’t go back now.'
'
We are targeting the next generation of consoles,’ said Ancel.
The original Beyond Good and Evil suffered weak sales and critical acclaim when it was first released in 2003. It was re-released as
Beyond Good and Evil HD earlier this year.
Beyond Good and Evil 2 was announced in
May 2008 and still doesn’t have a release date three years later.

I'm still waiting for the PS3 release of that... where is it?
I've heard June 8, 2011 so it should be out. But wikipedia may be lying to me. I don't have a PS3 (yet) so I couldn't tell you anything else except what the internets tells me.
The "Games" section is blocked from where I surf from :D...
