Electronic Arts has announced downloadable content packs for Bulletstorm before it has even been released in the UK, detailing a new Gun Sonata pack for the game.

Bulletstorm is released in the US today, but won't hit UK shelves for another three days.

The Gun Sonata pack is due out this Spring and will contain three new maps for Bulletstorm's Anarchy mode, as well as two new maps for the Echo high-score mode. There'll also be two new Leash enhancements; the Flamingo and the Pulp - though we aren't sure what they do yet.

The Gun Sonata pack will cost 800 MS Points on Xbox 360s (£6.85), or £7.99 on PlayStation 3. Electronic Arts has not given a price or further indication of a PC release.

You can check out our Bulletstorm review for more information on the game, which was developed by Painkiller developer People Can Fly.
