The new Borderlands DLC, The Zombie Island of Dr. Ned, will be released on November 24th for consoles.
Gearbox and 2K Games have at last spilled the details on the first batch of downloadable content for forum-favourite FPS
Borderlands, saying that the expansion will be released on November 24th for consoles.
Unfortunately though, while Gearbox have promised that the DLC will definitely come to PCs at some point there's still no date narrowed down for the PC platform.
According to
the official Gearbox twitter feed there will be an announcement about the PC release in the future.
Dubbed
The Zombie Island of Dr. Ned, the
Borderlands expansion will add in a new location that comes complete with new quests, weapons and enemies. The main story will follow the efforts of the eponymous Dr. Ned as he tries to cure the inhabitants of Jakobs Cove of a deadly disease.
The Zombie Island of Dr. Ned will cost 800 Microsoft Points (£6.80 / €9.60) on Xbox Live and around $10 or £6 on the PlayStation Network.

fixed for you...
If Microsoft paid for timed exclusivity then why is it coming out on the same day on PSN? Chances are they're just staggering the release to iron out some issues like they did with the release of the game. You gotta calm down.
