Crayon Physics may look complex, but it's really very easy to get started with. Honest.
Crayon Physics Deluxe, one of the winners in the prestigious Independent Games Festival competition, has finally become available for pre-order. Developed by indie studio Kloonigames, the pre-order is listed as costing just $14.95 USD (which is under £10 in real English money) and grants access to the beta versions of the game.
Crayon Physics Deluxe was a surprise and runaway success following the
Independant Games Festival for its simple design and cunning gameplay. Essentially a puzzle game, players must figure out ways to solve levels by drawing new objects with the mouse.
While the game starts simply, with players drawing simple platforms and balls, it escalates quickly. Much of the attraction in the game comes from creating huge Rube Goldberg devices and complex machines to solve the levels for you.
There's still no release date for the game unfortunately, but the price after release is listed as $19.95 USD on
the official site and an announcement is expected shortly.
The games designers are also adamant that this is a game to be developed by gamers and for gamers. Kloonigames has pledged that there'll be no DRM included in the release as the team doesn't believe it does anything but hurt customers.

Me too! The simplest games are always the best for me. :| I get tired of the others pretty fast...
I've got my pre-order. I have no doubt it'll be well worth it.
I think I have to buy this one...
