Red Alert 3 Collector's Edition detailed

The Premier Edition of Red Alert 3 will include extra content and be sold exclusively through GAME.

EA has now formerly announced that it will be releasing a collector's edition version of the upcoming strategy game Command and Conquer: Red Alert 3, titled the Premier Edition.

The Premier Edition of the game will be sold exclusively through GAME stores in Europe and will boast a few extra pieces of swag, all of which will be packaged in an attractive metal tin case.

Those of you who pick up the Premier Edition of the game can look forward to having access to five multiplayer and skirmish matches exclusive to those who shell out the few extra pounds for the collectors edition, as well as some other goodies, including a copy of the soundtrack to the game.

The main draw of the Premier Edition however is likely to be the extra DVD, which holds a making-of featurette for those eager to know more about the game, and a 'Women of Red Alert 3' feature.

The game will also include a beta key to a future Command and Conquer, which is most likely to be referring to Command and Conquer: Tiberium. Given that Tiberium won't be out until 2010 though, you'd best not lose that key.

If you want to know more about the game then you can check out our hands-on preview of Red Alert 3.

Are you planning on picking up the Premier Edition of the game, or is the bog-standard version going to be good enough for you? Let us know what you think in [url=http://forums.bit-tech.net/showthread.php?t=155756the forums[/url].

So...basically a game everyone has already been playing squeezing more cash out of idiots because of "Premier edition" printed on it.

..Or, it's there for the people who want it and are interested in that extra stuff. Those that don't don't have to buy it.

How has everyone already been playing it? It's still in private beta.

Maybe we all have keys?

Hell, going on the sales of KW, I'd wager that 99% were for the beta key.

Now if they included a poster of Gemma Atkinson in that hot uniform then Id happily pay over the odds for a premium edition (read : perverts edition LOL!)
