Spore Creature Creator leaked

Spore is set to release in Europe on September the 5th, two days ahead of the US release.

The Spore Creature Creator demo has been accidentally leaked a few days ahead of schedule it seems and the single-phase demo of the full game is now widely available on torrent sites, according to RockPaperShotgun.

The Creature Creator demo for the game gives players access to the stage of the game where they can design and animate their own creatures, though the demo does not allow players to actively play with their creations. That is all being left for the full game, into which all demo-creations can be easily imported.

The demo for the game only features a third of all the available tweaks and design tools in the full game, but is still a massively fun and capable tool. By releasing the demo so massively ahead of the full game, EA is allowing users to build up a back catalog of user created content that they will immediately litter the game world with at launch.

We recently did an extensive hands-on preview and producer interview with Spore and were hugely impressed with the game, which is set to launch in Europe on September 5th - a good few days ahead of the US release.

For those of you wanting to try the demo when it officially hits the web, we suggest you head over to the official site. The demo should be available on Tuesday the 17th of June.

It's all coming together now.. sweet.. I was afraid it was going to all become vapourware at one point.

Thank goodness Robin Williams won't be the only person outside the dev team to play it.

Allegedly, at least according to Kotaku, the demo date will now be Wednesday instead of Tuesday?

EDIT: Joe, that design on Garry's blog is just...well, how can I put this?...it's just sick :D
Although, this (careful, link possible NSFW) could be what we see when the less mature get their hands on the game... :(
