The winners of the Blizzard/Xfire World of Warcraft machinima contest have been announced, and the top videos are real goodies.

Machinima, for those who are noobs in the WoW world, is the making of short films using in-game graphics engines.

The competition had its unveiling last night at Stanford University, in the heart of Silicon Valley. The winners walked away with prizes including GeForce 7900s, Athlon FX CPUs and the top prize winner also nabbed a $5000 PC, apparently.
