Internet communities have been built up around their fascination with completing computer games in the fastest most skilful way possible. Bungie are reporting that Cody Miller's record completion time for Halo 2 has now entered the record books.

The feat, which looks impressive even to none gamers, took Cody around three and a half hours. If you want to download the movie you may have to wait though, as the server looks like it may be struggling to cope.

Bungie, makers of Halo, were quick to point out how impressed they were by Cody's feat:

I bet that about 40 of you will say, "ZOMG I TOTALLY DID THAT TWO YEARS AGO IN HALF THE TIME." But you're lying. I know it, you know it and your mom knows it good and hard. So just don't.

If you're interested in the 'complete-games-in-the-fastest-possible-time' community then try out the speed demo archive and ikaruga.

Impressed by the Halo time? Or is it stupid to get a record time in a game? Let us know your thoughts in the forums.
