Enemy Territory: Quake Wars has been pushed back to 2007.

Whilst we haven't actually seen an official release date, we were generally expecting it to hit at the end of 2006, in time for Chrimbo. It now seems that, according to a development diary, that's not going to be the case.

The game is nonetheless scheduled to be playable at QuakeCon, so those who are itching at the prospect of waiting until 2007 should pop along to the convention to get their mitts on playable code.

We played Quake Wars at E3 and it looked pretty damn good. Let us know your reaction to the date slip over in the forums.
