The release of Blu-Ray discs has been delayed yet again, with the first titles now set to hit the street on June 20.

The films were originally supposed to rock up on May 23, but it seems that the hardware is still not ready, and Sony - the first company to put films out there - has been asked by its partners to hold off until the hardware is done.

Samsung will be releasing its first Blu-Ray player on June 25, so buyers will only have a few days to snap up the first batch of films before the hardware is available. The first titles out from Sony include Underworld Evolution, Resident Evil Apocalypse and House of the Flying Daggers.

HD-DVD has now been out for a couple of weeks, hitting the stores at the end of April. Initial reports are that the first batch of hardware has sold out, with shelves not being restocked very quickly.

Blu-Ray players are set to be a little more expensive than the HD-DVD kit. Will you be investing in either? Let us know over in the forums.
