Rally car seat specialist turns to gaming chairs

The AK Racing Gaming Chair boasts striking colour combinations based on the interiors of racing cars.

Rally car seat manufacturer AK Racing has turned its attention to the gaming industry with a series of chairs specially designed for gamers.

The AK Racing Gaming chair has been inspired by the company’s experience in the rally car field and boasts multiple colour options inspired by the interiors of sports cars. The chair also supports a full range of standard adjustable ergonomic options featured include height, angle and tilt flexibility.

The range is being sold by Overclockers UK alongside another specialist chair manufacturer, Arozzi, which has launched its Enzo series through the site.

A press release from Overclockers UK highlights the long-term health benefits of having an appropriate office chair to supporting the spine during extended gaming sessions. Both chairs feature built in pillows to support the neck and lumbar regions of the back and the chairs are also filled with deformation-resistant foam coated in high quality PU leather.

The AK Racing Gaming chair ranges from £179.99 through to £259.99 depending on colour selection and the Arozzi Enzo chair is available for £129.95. Colour choices include black coupled with red, blue, white, green, yellow or orange.

Both seats are currently available for pre-order at Overclockers UK and are due to be shipped soon.

That's not bad as the weight goes up so does the price.

So, recommendations for a good office chair then? After spending £50 at Staples a few years ago it's time for a replacement...

anyone using that Ikea high back with the mesh?

I take it you mean IKEA Markus. had it for couple of years, great value for the price IMO, built like a tank.

Passed it on mainly because it's a huge f*cker, and the mesh collects dust like crazy.

Had one(ish) since 2010. Very comfortable chair but has been replaced every year under warranty due to gas shock failure. Last time they offered me a full refund but I took the replacement.

Think I'll stick with my broken but comfy reclining armchair

boo my chair is only 158kg gas lift. But thankfully, I am only 110kg, and my chair looks nice :)
