Win an Enermax PC built by bit-tech

Win this £1,000 Enermax PC!

Enermax's new UK website has just launched and it really needs honest feedback from those of you based in Blighty. As Enermax itself says:

The new Enermax website is online and you will see that a lot has changed. We've got a brand new design and improved navigation – from now on you can get all the information you need about Enermax products much faster. We've also improved the support and service area to cater to your questions and problems far quicker as well.

Together with our media partner bit-tech, we are offering you at the start of our online experience an exclusive Lucky Draw. All you need is to let us know your opinion about our new website and our brand.

Yes, that's right, fill out a survey and you'll be in with a chance to win a £1,000 AMD "Dragon" system, built by our very own hands. This system isn't available in the shops and was spec'd, hand built and tested in house right here at bit tech in London, exclusively for this Lucky Draw. It features no less than:
  • An Enermax Phoenix Neo case (slightly modified)
  • Enermax Magma 120mm fans
  • Enermax Revolution 85+ 850W PSU
  • Asus M3A79-T motherboard (AMD AM2+ 790FX/SB50)
  • AMD Phenom II 940 CPU (overclocked to 3.6GHz)
  • Asus Radeon HD 4870 "Dark Knight" edition Graphics Card
  • Kingston 4GB PC2-8500 DDR2 Memory
  • ThermalRight Ultra Extreme CPU cooler
  • LG GGC H20L HD DVD, Blu-ray and DVD-RW optical drive
  • Samsung SpinPoint F1 1TB SATA hard drive
  • Windows Vista Home Premium x64
In addition to this, there will be several additional Enermax products prizes as well to be given away - you can check the whole list on the new Enermax website.

The survey will run until 26th May 2009, so there's plenty of time to enter the Enermax Competition! Although we're providing the prize, the competition is being hosted and run by Enermax, so the terms and conditions for entering have been decided by Enermax and can be read on its site. The build pictures of the first prize are below!

Because it was meant to go live yesterday, but Germany didn't realise it was a UK holiday so they delayed and extended it a day.

Yes, Enermax has had local competitions with various websites across the net as they relaunch their sites. Recently they did a German one with a German site. They want local readers/buyers because of the questions in the Survey - we represent UK :)

Also - I hand built this bad boy so whoever wins better appreciate my late night labours!!

I might post the heatsink in a separate box though - dont want the TRUE ripping itself out during transport. I'll have to find a big box for all the component boxes too ;)

So, again, if you're living in one of those insignificant little countries like Denmark you're SOL... :(

Ah well... it's probably a crap rig as it is... :p

If by some unfortunate twist of fate I ended up with it, don't be surprised if the component boxes get returned to sender >.>

Also, I'd appreciate some blood, sweat and tears on the inside of the case! Makes everything a bit more personal :B

Might check with whoever ends up winning if they actually want all those boxes, because I for one certainly would not appreciate having to deal with them, of course, it won't stop me from entering the draw either, small price to pay for a potential large gain.

Hope I win!!

Something I wondered though. Does this "media partnership" mean in future if Enermax sends you something for review you will rave about it even if it's just average? Or is it just this one off system build?

Because one of the things I love about bit-tech is it's journalistic excellence and also integrity in "telling it like it is". (Except when you're wrong, see http://www.bit-tech.net/blog/2009/05/05/i-played-diablo-2-and-i-hated-it/ :p)

We work with dozens of companies to offer the best opportunities for our readers, but a product is a product. If it's shite - other people will use it, say it's crap, and we'll be called on it. If it's good, it's very good. It just so happens I love the Enermax Revolution PSUs (because they *are* very good), however I keep butting heads with German office because we always see them as too expensive.

Yay for Enermax & Bit-tech.

Congrats to the 1st prize winner.

unklepepper - well done!

This competition ended a while ago, they said they were going to post the winners on their website, still don't see it though.

I guess I also didn't win anything if I didn't receive any email. Oh well!

Im waiting for Enermax, I've asked already, but they want to make sure the winners reply to emails/phone and accept first I think.
Quote Blademrk 29th June 2009, 13:44
well, I haven't received any emails or PMs (phone calls I can't be sure, have always screened phone calls and we've been getting a lot of hang-ups with no messages lately). So in other words, don't think it's me either...
