Acrobat and IE flaw

Acrobat and IE flaw

According to Adobe, Acrobat Reader could let in malware.

Just a quick news bite for those of you using Internet Explorer:

Adobe has announced a possible exploit vulnerability that is accessed through Acrobat Reader earlier this week. The issue can cause a couple problems. First, it can cause Acrobat to crash, which will take IE with it, which is incredibly annoying. The other possibility includes your entire computer being hijacked by a botnet. You know, nothing really important.

The bug affects Adobe Acrobat and Acrobat Reader products version 7.00-7.08. Those of you who use the Fox to browse PDF files don't have to worry, though - the exploit will only function on Internet Explorer. A patch is expected from Adobe shortly.

The update will be available here as soon as it is complete.
