For those who were waiting for the word from Redmond after the Canadian price page was leaked, you can breathe easy. Microsoft confirmed Vista's official US price scheme yesterday, putting to rest a lot of speculation.
Rather than bore you with history, here's the nitty gritty (All prices in USD):
Personal/SOHO Versions
Most of these prices are no surprise, as they're fairly well in line with the leaked versions earlier (though ever-so-slightly cheaper). The "developing market" (read: very stripped down) version price is nowhere to be found yet, however. Along with the versions above, there will be a few EU specific releases, which don't have Windows Media Player installed by default.

- Vista Home Premium - $239 full / $159 upgrade
