Microsoft has released the lastest beta for its next-generation Internet Explorer 7 web browser to the public today.
The beta, which is dubbed Internet Explorer Beta 2 Preview, is available from Microsoft's Internet Explorer 7 homepage requires Windows XP with Service Pack 2. Versions supporting Windows XP Professional x64 and Windows Server 2003 are understood to be coming soon.
According to an article on Arstechnica, the preview is intended for advanced users and developers. The report suggests that there will be a general-use public beta sometime in the summer.
The browser has several new features including RSS support, an advanced tabbed browsing interface with a funky quick tabs enhancement that allows you to preview the contents of your tabs, an anti-phishing filter, better printing support and also a favourites centre that should help to improve favourite's management.
