Ahrensburg, 04th of October 2008: This year in October the new Tagan SuperRock power supply series (also known as the U33II series) was presented to the press and specialised retail stores.

After several very successful test reports and awards it is published now also on the 80 PLUS® website that the new Tagan power supplies have got the 80 Plus®-certification in Bronze.

The very high efficiency of the DC-DC models (U33II series starting from 680 Watt) results from the equipment with newest DC-DC technology (measured by 80 Plus®: 86.37%).

These DC-DC power supplies release less heat, consume therefore less energy and operate by use of the new hydro-dynamically supported fan which is extremely silent. Furthermore it is important to mention the particularly high performance on the +12 V rail with accurate 3% regulation, this becomes more important for new graphics cards. The new technology turned the 680 Watt version even into number 1 position from all 43 power supplies in a test of the online portal www.pc-experience.de.

Unfortunately, the demand before Christmas cannot be satisfied, because the needed containers do not arrive on time for the Christmas shopping season.
