Jack Thompson recommended for permanent disbarment

Judge Dava Tunis has recommended that Jack Thompson be permanently disbarred.
Gamepolitics managed to obtain a copy of the judge's recommendation for the case, which indicated that Judge Tunis did not believe the ten year suspension the Florida Bar had been pushing for was going to be enough.
Throughout the case Jack Thompson has been highly critical of Judge Dava Tunis, openly calling her "mentally impaired" and a "raving wild woman".
In addition to the permanent disbarment, Judge Tunis has recommended that Thompson be made to pay a $43,675 fine for the legal costs incurred by the Florida Bar in this case.
In May, Thompson was found guilty of 27 out of 31 charges made against him in a misconduct suit relating to his campaign against computer game violence.

If he did, he'd be the perfect candidate for exploring outside the solar system. Either we'd lose him, or he'd come back in a few hundred thousand years and get fired into the black hole that replaced the sun.

i thought the sun might become a white dwarf, but google says it'll become a red giant when it dies off. I need to watch more discovery channel.
cant say i recognise the name of this jack fellow, but from what i read, he seems like the usual bible toting serial litigator that hates video games for no reason other than they're an easy target. it was the same with every medium before it, people resist new technology, expect it to somehow unravel society. games, like everything in life should be done in moderation, too much and sure - you could do harm to yourself or others; but thats no different than from drink, or films, or books, or any thing in life.
edit: it probably doesn't matter anyway. aren't we scheduled to collide with Andromeda before then?
