Imagine having your own life-sized Optimus Prime of your very own. Now imagine that your Optimus Prime actually transforms.

Better yet still is that inside of Optimus is your computer. You'd better start to envy John Magnus then as his Optimus Prime PC case mod stands at over a whopping two meters tall and even transforms into a smaller desktop version.

Begun over a year ago with over 300 hours of work put into it, Magnus had the train of thought that you can't have a Transformer mod and it not transform. "When I was designing this PC I wanted it to transform in some way or another. It is a Transformer, what kind would it be if it did not transform. So, I made it transform into a much smaller desktop form," he said while describing his case.

His own "personal" touch went into the case with the hands of Optimus being cast from his very own hands.

Optimus Prime sports an Intel Core 2 Duo E6850 seated in an EVGA nForce 680i SLI with 2GB of RAM along with two GeForce 8800 GTS OCs and an Enermax 1000W PSU. Optimus should have plenty of storage space with two WD RaptorX 150GB HDDs.

If you were at QuakeCon this past week, you might have gotten a chance to take a peek at this massive mod. If not, then you'll be able to take a gander over at ExtremeTech for some more pictures and information about the mod.

So did you get a chance to take a peek at Optimus Prime in person last week? Even if you didn't, let us know what you think about this mod over in the forums or in the comments section below..
