The bit-tech digital art forum and the Photo of the Month site are the main hubs for our photography competition. It is held monthly and open to anyone that wants to enter as long as you're a member of our forums (it's free to register). The picture can be any photograph of your interpretation of that month's theme, and there is no restriction on what camera you can use. Entries have to be submitted by the 25th of the month, giving you plenty of time to get snapping. The winners are decided by the voting of others who have also entered.
Since winning, Brett was charged with nominating the theme for August and he's chosen: Lines.

He claims to be from Manchester yet is photo includes the sun in the background - but it's been p*ssing it down solidly since April - it *must* be a doctored image. :D

Congrats to Yoda as well as starfighter and gunguy. All very beautiful.
Can't wait to spot this months theme somewhere. I'm already toiling with a few ideas, but as last time I think I'll see if opportunity smiles at me.
I'll have you know it occasionally sunshines in Manchester, and when it does, oh boy there's a lot of excitement, and picture taking.
I am of course lying, the picture was taken in Cheltenham. Which incidentally was recently flooded, whilst in Manchester it was dry...
