Price cut? Roger that!
Microsoft has slashed the price of some popular Xbox games to make them more attractive to current-gen owners, as well as new 360 owners looking for something cheap and cheerful to play.
Halo 2, Fable, Counter-Strike and Project Gotham Racing 2 are now cut down to £9.99 in your local videogaming outlet. Whilst CS is a bit pants, you can easily lose yourself in Fable for a couple of weeks (whilst waiting for the newly-announced Fable 2 to hit the 360 next year) and Halo 2 is worth playing if you haven't already been following the storyline of the Master Chief.
Xbox 360 games are priced at a pretty chunky £49.99 in the UK, with games retailers milking early adopters for all they're worth.
However, Xbox Live Marketplace has been a runaway success, with 'casual' and retro games going for under £10. Geometry Wars at around £6 is a particular steal.
Will you be tempted to pick up these games on the cheap? Have you enjoyed Live Marketplace?
