OCZ announces EPP memory

OCZ's new EPP modules will be out soon.

OCZ has announced that it is releasing a new range of DDR2 memory modules with Enhanced Performance Profiles.

The EPP on the new sticks will be compatible with new nForce 590 motherboards from all the usual partners. OCZ now joins Corsair in having announced compatibility with NVIDIA's standard for 'SLI Memory'.

"The extra performance unleashed by mutual optimization of the memory and the mainboard's BIOS is a big leap away from the one-size-fits-all doctrine of stiff industry standards towards a custom interaction between the system and the memory," said Dr. Michael Schuette, VP of Technology Development at OCZ.
