Nintendo case mod - funky!

It's not very often you see handheld consoles modded, but this is definitely one of the better things we've seen done.

One enthusiastic chap has taken his Nintendo DS, sanded it down, and then attached some retro Nintendo buttons to the top.

The buttons are taken from an authentic NES controller and have been glued to the top of the casing. Of course, they don't work, but they do look pretty funky.

We've been playing Super Monkey Ball: Touch and Roll on the DS all morning, and so we're in something of a Nintendo DS vibe. We thought you might appreciate this bit of retro eye candy!
