Quake 4 website launches

The Strogg-shooter is powered by Doom 3.

The official Quake 4 website has launched, over at Quake4game.com.

The site features a backgrounder to the storyline, as well as a new trailer for the game.

However, if you're looking for footage, we suggest you check out Team Xbox, who have a WMV of the game in hi-res 720p format. It looks stunning.

The plotline appears to revolve around one of the marines in the game becoming a Strogg warrior, which is, apparently, the only way to fight them.

Because we didn't already kill hundreds of them in Quake 2 whilst remaining completely human?

Amusingly, Quake4.com points to medical advice for those with excessively secretious respiratory diseases. Don't the Strogg wear those big mask-tube things? Perhaps they should note.
