A new breed of scratchbuild has emerged in the form of desk PCs. It's not a totally new concept, but the level execution and skill on show hit level 9000 last year with our Mod of the Year winner, L3p D3sk. However, ever project since that has used the theme as the basis for the project has been new and interesting and Omega Desk looks like it's going to be a desk project to beat in 2012.



The combined stand and interesting angles forum user Squigly has chosen in his desk project, Omega Desk, are very unique and give the appearance of an elegant design that seems to save space too. The curved edges and vent details are really going to make this one stand out from the crowd.



Sadly, if like us you were hoping it was simple to build so you could have your own, it seems like you'll need some serious tools to get the job done. This is definitely one to watch and we can't wait to see how it looks when completed.
