l3p needs no introduction. Our current Mod of the Year champ has been hard at work on a secret project (actually something other than his entry this month - we'll hopefully have a full report on this soon), but has also had time to start a mod based on an Origen HTPC case.



It's certainly turning out to be one of the most 'modded' mods we've seen for a while - even the waterblocks for the graphics cards are being custom made which is something you don't see every day. There's also a custom fan controller in the works and we just love the shot above - we're sure this sight of a desk covered in PC gear and tools is a familiar sight to many.



In the most recent updates to the project, L3p has got down to business with the lighting and begun installing the hardware to cool the monstrous Asus ROG MARS II graphics card and Intel Core i7 2600K. We doubt this is the end of the road for the project so make sure you head over to the log to see how L3p is progressing.
