Organic II Home Linux Server by awadon

Project Log: Here
We've seen plenty of projects at bit-tech that use wood extensively as the main building material. However, none have been crafted in quite the same method as awadon is employing in his latest project, Organic II Home Server. His last project, Positronic Brain, came a close second in March's Mod of the Month so we'll be watching this one closely.

The most interesting aspect of the project is that it's being fashioned out of solid wood, with recesses for the screen and keyboard. It looks as if the case has grown out of his garden, and we can't imagine how many hours with a sander this took to achieve.

In the most recent updates, awadon has made significant strides, adding varnish and smoothing the surfaces to create one of the most original-looking wood-based projects we've seen.

Needless to say, this is one to watch. If you want to pledge your support to awadon, then head over to our forum.
