Introduction

I don't know about you guys, but it seems like April is the new March here on the north "coast" of Ohio. The month has seen everything from thunderstorms to snow showers to sunny days that feel like Spring...and I guess it's about time to recognise that indeed, Spring is here. I guess it's time to clean again, huh?

This month, we're taking a little trip down a road less travelled - rather than looking at the mods that are just originating, I've also been looking at ones that seem to have been getting on quite slowly. Many of the mods in this month's competition have been in process for a while or are "refurbs" of old products – and it's time to get these off the desk to get on with something new!

So to help encourage this spring cleaning, we've got five top mods that have been a while in the making – and the winner is going to walk away with some gear to help inspire his or her next project.
