Adding a display

Time for some LCD-action. I needed to do some manual soldering on the display to hook up the parallel connection.


This is the sleeving that I'm using on the display - it took quite a while to get the ribbon cable soldered on properly and securely.


The final thing doesn't look like much on a desk, but will hopefully look good in the case. Many thanks to Sour Cream Pringles for keeping me sustained throughout the soldering marathon!
