500W is enough for many of us, especially those of us building a budget or mid-range machine. However, getting a cheap, good quality modular PSU is surprisingly difficult, but it appears OCZ might have just cracked the formula.
The latest revision of OCZ's ModXStream range comes with the "Pro" moniker, with a revamped style, better efficiency and better connectors. So the key question is, for under £60 does OCZ have a budget winner?
Box and Bits
The PSU comes well packed between large bits of foam, so it should survive the journey from the factory to your door without damage. Also inside the box is a zip bag to store unused modular cables, and although the bag is cheap and already fraying, it does the job just fine.

In addition to the four case screws, there's also a basic multi-language manual that offers basic advice on how to use the PSU, but very few technical details.
