Hiper Group has strong UK origins - which, if you're patriotic enough to care, makes a change from the usual Taiwanese and United States (read: Californian) tech companies.
The Type R II features a non-modular design, but with a unique spread cable layout instead. The elaborate design is also the most striking of the Hiper range but arguably one of its greatest assets is the inclusion of a powered USB Hub in the back of the PSU. No other company does this, so it's certainly a differentiating feature. It comes in both black and blue models, but they both have the same internals, cables, USB Hub and silver fan and blue LEDs.

First things first - the box. We love the box free place to throw our tools! It's a great idea because normally we just chuck it away then lose the rest of the parts. Instead, we've got a sturdy plastic box with even a "tool shelf" chucked in as well - the handle makes it particularly great for LANs or if you're a student and constantly moving.
The PSU itself comes well packed between a few bits of thick foam, and the extra cable adapters are put into their own little pouch as well. The ATX cable is a little weird in that it requires self assembly because both European and UK plugs are included in the box. There are also a few Velcro zip ties thrown in for cable tidying too, so come to think of it, we couldn't ask for more.
