Inno3D iChill GTX 780 Ti DHS HerculeZ X3 Ultra 3GB - Overclocking

Using EVGA Precision X, we managed to get the iChill GTX 780 Ti DHS to a base clock of 1,140MHz – after this, we began to experience instability. This is equal to a 5 percent overclock from the speeds that the card ships at, but it's a more significant 30 percent over reference GTX 780 Ti speeds. However, despite Inno3D's double binning process it's little better than what we've seen from other GTX 780 Ti cards – the Zotac AMP! Edition actually reached a base clock of 1,160MHz.

At the overclocked speed, the reported boost clock was 1,205MHz, but the we actually saw it peak at 1,254MHz and average at around 1,235MHz during games. Again, this is a similar situation to what we saw when we overclocked Zotac's card, but it's hard to complain – it's still a ludicrously fast card.

As for the memory, it was happy to run at 7.9GHz, 100MHz faster than what we've seen before, though that's not a massive difference. We were hoping for 8GHz, but sadly that was too much to ask of the SK Hynix memory chips. Nevertheless, 7.9GHz is a 9 percent overclock compared to Inno3D's speeds.
