However, as something of a pull back down to earth, all manufacturers clearly have a way to go before they can truly claim to have nailed AF filtering quality in all situations. As we see above - look closely at the flagstones just above the top of the crosshair - there are areas where the changes in mipmap levels are still easily viewable across all drivers and cards. It's hard to pick one card from another here - all have fairly dire filtering. We're happy to say that this is really the exception rather than the rule, but we wanted to point it out lest the two graphics mean machines get too complacent about image quality.
