Here is our settings for a 200MHz base clock for the P7P55D Deluxe motherboard. We didn't adjust the Channel Interleave and Rank Interleave options. The voltage is quite high here, perhaps the IMC and core volts can be dropped a little to save power and temperature, it depends on the CPU. Ignore the red IMC setting - Asus itself claims 1.4V is needed to sufficiently push over a 200MHz base clock.

We dropped the QPI to 6.4GHz, the lower of the two settings.

Under the DRAM Timing Control sub-menu, the memory settings are set according to the Corsair Dominator 1,600MHz specs we were using at 8-8-8-24-1T. Depending how competent or brave you fancy being, additional values like the write recovery time and cycle time can be further optimised depending on the DIMMs installed. More information on the performance affects can often be obtained from the memory vendor.

In the Advanced tab, everything bar the prefetechers and xD-bit capability have been disabled. Some will also disable the latter as well, but as a security feature we've left it on.

Remember to keep an eye on the temperatures under the Power tab and also use the OC Profile utility in the tools tab: the eight slots offer plenty of space.

Attempting to squeeze out a little more, we pushed the board to 215MHz base clock, while we also didn't reduce the memory clock in this case, we did increase the memory voltage to 1.71V to compensate. Increased CPU core and IMC voltages were also necessary.

Using the OC Tuner Utility under the "Better Performance" setting, the motherboard gave us a 156MHz base clock with a 20x multiplier. The memory speed was as close as possible to the rated 1,600MHz at 1,560MHz, however the memory timings were not optimised. The voltages were also unchanged by Asus as well. Overall a overclock to 3.1GHz is not that great, despite the fact this is the "higher" of two available automatic OC settings.
