Sisoft Sandra tells much the same story, although it doesn't like it at all when we pushed the memory further than its rated values in terms of both latency and frequency, yielding a very poor result. There are huge jumps for frequency elevation rather than very small ones for latency optimisations - the gap is far larger than in Everest.

Increasing the memory controller clock alone does little for the raw memory performance, but it does reduce the latency slightly.
