The clock speed improvement for the Athlon X2 7750 means it nearly catches up with the Phenom X3 8450 here - the extra core of the Phenom generally performs better in the multithreaded memory performance test of Sisoft Sandra. Again, there's not a huge improvement in memory bandwidth from the extra 400MHz between the stock and overclocked Athlon X2 7750s, whereas the Intel E5200 overclocking provides far more bandwidth - nearly 43 percent.
And again, like Everest, there's little benefit seen when overclocking the Athlon, whereas the Intel improves quite a lot.
